Were a bit More advanced than I thought but I like that. I like everything you have here specially the air ships. With Zeppelins possibly being a big thing almost like battleships with hangars inside and lots of anti air guns? We could instead of sea pirates like air pirates. Though they could easily engage ships becaus they could lower themselves and rappel down or parachute down (parapirates?) and most of them be trained pilots. I don't think I mentioned the power part about the wealthy people's augmentation but that's exactly what I was thinking. I'm not really into magic very much but I could go with it (I'm more of a sci-fi guy). Oh and happy thanksgiving if you celebrate it!

haha I dont see any reason we can't have both. The book series starting with leviathan took that idea to pretty great effect of machines being both land, sea, and air based on mass scales. Having a massive airship firing harpoons on lines to attach to ships and having men zip line down to the ships that way has an aesthetic I rather like.
As for "magic" thats a bit of a misnomer, as it would be a science like anything else. Just with a different feel.

I meant air pirates for the main crew that the story will center around. What do you think about that?

That sounds excellent to me, any ideas for some of the main characters?

Umm captain obviously and I'm not sure how many characters should be the pirates. Unless maybe we do the air pirates one could be a pilot unless the captain leads from the front always a cool idea. The knight of the Guilded angel. Ummm maybe a priest? And probably do a bunch of mini characters from the battle like right before they die.
