Hey all, thanks for joining me here!
This post will hopefully explain what this is all about, so feel free to ask questions and suggest any improvements or ideas you have
The original intention is to create a collective for artists, writers and other creative-types to use for creating all kinds of things. It's entirely fan-based, so no one person decides exactly how the project runs (I only manage it). If you're a writer, here's the place you can get feedback and perhaps even get some illustrators to work on your story. If you want to have a go at voice acting, we'll work with sound producers and some of the submitted stories to create audio dramas. If you have any kind of creative talent, we'd love to see it and maybe even use it on a project.
The works we create here, with your permission, will later be used on art sites, writing sites, a YouTube channel and perhaps even a podcast - all under the name of Pen and Anvil, which will connect stories together in different mediums. You will be credited with anything and everything you contribute or contribute to, we'll only be trying to create a method for you to get your name out there, and to work with others as stated above.
Anything you contribute helps
As an example, writers submit their ideas and stories, we improve and refine them, and the best of them are used to create audio dramas, graphic novels, animations and anything else people want to create. Of course, post your works at your own risk - it is the internet after all, so it's up to you to make sure your work is watermarked, copyrighted, etc.
There are two sections to the site, 40K and Originals, because currently, we're mostly made up of 40K fans who wish to use this for fan-fictions and such. Later, as we grow, we'll incorporate those stories into the general projects section.
Hopefully I've explained this well enough, and I look forward to working with you all!
