If not i can just have the preds with auto cannon and las cannons with razorbacks with twin heavy bolters

Alrighty, so to provide a general layout for the first battle.
Imperial Briefing: Brief character intros, establishing character moments and descriptions for primary viewpoint characters. General calls briefing, thus gathering all together. General gives overview, explaining reasons for leaving main fleet to Guard Officers. Omega Watch Captain gives briefing on planet, on objectives. Debate on how to tackle spaceport, between General, Omega Watch Captain, Raven Guard Captain, Lady Commissar and any other officers who would have input. Come to agreement, Omega Watch Captain makes rousing speech, break off meeting. Return to viewpoint characters discussing/giving opinions.
Attack: Raven Guard drop, go after air defenses. Omega Watch drop on landing pad to secure it. Stormtroopers and Elysians drop to sew confusion. Thunderbolt CAS engages, going mostly after traitor Guard armor. Omega Watch engage and annihilate half of Chaos Marine Squad. Raven Guard engage and annihilate other half, disable air defenses, run into Maulerfiend. Maulerfiend destroyed by Omega Watch Dreadnaught. Spaceport secure.
Go ahead and post anything else you'd like to see, and I'll edit it into the timeline.

I think the rousing speech should come at the end of the meeting instead. Itd flow a bit better. Also I think in the battle some building should get blow up just cuz. Also dont forget the include the CAS run in the timeline

Okay, changes noted. Anything else? If not, I'll open up a new thread to do the intros and a thread to do the briefing in. When we get to dialogue, one person will compile it and put it into one post and we'll keep going. Once things have come to a satisfactory conclusion for the briefing, I'll edit and compile it, then make a word document and attach it to that thread. Further discussion will change it, of course. After the word document is done, I'll go ahead and open a thread for the drop. That one has less interaction, so it will probably go a bit smoother. Also, feel free to message me on FB, if I am not in class I'm happy to provide ideas, direction and actions of the Op For.

Maybe the prayer could be covered by the senior battle sister? If we want to include them at this point of course

Perhaps the battle sister and chaplains from both chapters could do it. Just an idea. I dont pay much attention to the religious aspect. Also Id say we should just do all the posts in 1 thread. Its getting a bit heavy with all these threads. Maybe we can compile it in Facebook and post chapters in a finished thread? I think itd be a bit less cluttery.
Also any decision on what my NLs are doing? Are they doing whatever they want or are they following Blood Dog orders?

Cannoness and Chaplains sounds like a good plan. And keeping to one thread is fine, one for writing in and one for discussion I think.
As for the Night Lords, they'll be working for the Blood Dogs. I'm thinking that they're searching for something important, not sure what though. Could be that there's an artefact on the planet that the Blood Dogs want, but didn't quite have the manpower to take the planet, exploit and go searching. So they've hired the Night Lords with a promise of something nice. So they are searching, and playing around a bit as well. Then they find the cultist stuff going on and investigate, eventually really enjoying the sport that purestrain genestealers (Eventually) provide.

I like that idea. The only bit Id edit a bit is that they arent too happy with the way the Blood Dogs do things so they dont exactly go out of their way to help. Im thinking their motivation to "help" is because their doing this to get supplies for their raids and slaves for their ship. And are any Blood Dogs going to be with them on the other continent?

None at all. Maybe some supporting mortals, but no Astartes. Well, at least not in the beginning. They may get some reinforcements after a little bit because the Blood Dogs really want that prize, and would rather lose the world than lose the prize.
That might actually be a really good reason to divert the Raven Guard to that continent. A sudden upswing in terror attacks, as well as a quarter of the enemy elite forces bypassing all battles in order to get there. Seems very suspicious, and the Inquisitor is likely to tag along.

i think a couple cultist squads might be a good fit to send along, just so the Blood Dogs have some personel there. Maybe a higher ranking cultist can accompany them? Itd make sense cuz just cuz the Dogs hired them doesnt mean theyre actually going to pursue their objective with much zeal.
And I rather not divert the Raven Guard over there just because Id rather not have them get mixed together until the 'Nids show up. We have plenty of Omega guys and guardsmen that could be sent instead, plus the inquistor's team

Fair enough. We'll worry about that when we get to it, I suppose. But sending a high ranking mortal, probably a religious leader of some kind, should provide a good foil to the Night Lords through both trying to keep them in line (lol) and constantly preaching at them.
